Beautifully restored old house in the center of Avdou, very welcoming and attentive hosts and friendly neighbours, very quiet street at night. The village is on a high plain (what a view on the way up!), close to the mountains, the Lasithi plateau and the sea, as well. Hard to choose which way to go in the morning 😊. Didn't miss a thing, thank you!!

nice small old house fully restorated in the center area from avdou , located in a small alley with intimate ambiance..where you live between greeks...they can be a bit passionate in there conversations but at 10 pm all get quit.....between the two bedrooms is a small wooden stairs without a door .. nice small balcony and big kitchen with table with all you need

Xrisa is a superhost. Everything has been easy and she was very present and attentive. The house is small but VERY well maintained and comfortable. The village is a gem. I highly recommend Xrisa's place.

A wonderful modern home with feel of the ancient houses! The top room on the second floor has AC for a queen bed and a twin with windows also for cross ventilation. The first floor has a queen bed, and a small but well appointed small bath with a small shower. This floor has a nice terrace for 3. It has no AC and with one window less drafts so it becomes a little warmer during the hot summer nights. The street level has a couch that can sleep one and table with chairs with a great kitchen that has everything you need in it for nice coffee and simple meals. A market is close by. The hostess had left lovely fruit and some drinks as a welcome touch. The fam lives next door and the check in was easy (our flight was delayed and we arrived very late). Parking on the main road provides easy access to the house. The village has beautiful festivals and dances. The beach is 20 min away. We enjoyed our stay and hostess in this wonderful home and will return!

We had a lovely stay here and it was so special to arrive to a fire going given it was quite cold outside. We would absolutely recommend this place. It was cosy and very comfortable.

One of the most amazing Airbnb we have been in. The house is very cute and the village charming. Marianna and Manolis have been fantastic hosts and have a real sense of hospitality! We will definitely come back

How had a wonderful time in Avdou. The village is totally picturesque with its small and flowery alleys, we felt very much at home. Xrisa's place was really super nice! The furnishings are of very high quality and tasteful, which impressed us very much. The kitchen equipment is really great, there were many ways to make a good coffee and lots of spices. Upon our arrival, there were treats as a welcome. It is very lovely cats in the neighborhood that greet you kindly. We will come back! :-)

Xrisa is a great host. She helped us getting there (wasn’t that simple since the village has no street names). Xrisa and her family welcomed us with fruits and sweets and were at our service. The house is stylish, authentic and super clean. The only down side is that the house cannot accommodate more than one family (parents plus max 3 children). The bedrooms has no doors and there is only one bathroom so practically there is no privacy. The house is located in a lovely small village in the mountains and there are few things around to do and places to visit. We stayed there for two nights and that was enough.

A beautiful traditional home in a lovely settlement. Everything is clean and tidy and there are all the mentioned amenities. Within a short drive you can find plenty of activities and points of interest and many taverns with delicious dishes! Hosts are very connected and ready to help with anything! We'll be happy to choose it again!

Avdou is a very pretty village lost in the mountains, the accommodation located on three floors is perfect, impeccable cleanliness. In addition, the hosting was very warm with lots of care. To choose with your eyes closed if you like peace and cleanliness.

The house is great! It is fully renovated internally and externally, while its decoration and architecture have been chosen to maintain the authenticity of the traditional settlement that surrounds it. Note that Avdou will enchant you! The house is fully equipped with brand new household kitchen, refrigerator, coffee maker, TVs etc. while it has air conditioning and hot water to stove for winter and wi-fi! It has an attic with views for romantics and is located in an ideal spot. It is the quietest of the village, very close to its central center and at the same time very close to the main road ensuring unlimited parking. In the bustling Peninsula as well as in "good sea" you arrive relaxed very quickly. The house was very clean and really shining! His welcoming hostess had made sure to wait for us tsikoudies, a big bottle of wine, and two big bowls of fresh fruit figs, pears and peaches, treats delicious spoon sweets, and refreshments in the fridge. Everything was perfect! We had a fantastic time. We will definitely visit you again!
